Edmund Waller has 50 part-time nursery places, which is the Government funded 15 hours.  We do not have any full-time places.   If you wish your child to be admitted to Edmund Waller Nursery, you need to collect and complete an application form available from the school office. We do not accept applications until your child turns 2 years of age. We do though recommend that you apply as soon after the date as possible.

Children are admitted to the Nursery the term after they have turned 3 years of age.

Our main intake is in September. The School manages its own admissions for the nursery class. Our criteria for admission are Looked After Children (LAC) first, then siblings to be offered a place and then home to school distance.

The morning session runs from 9.00am to 11.40am and the afternoon session runs from 12.50 to 3.30pm, with an additional session once a week to make up the total 15 hours. Children will need to be collected at the end of the morning session and return for the afternoon session in order to complete their additional session.

Children who are not offered a place will automatically be put on a waiting list. Should a place become available we will contact you.
