Year 6 at PGL - Day 4

Blue skies, overcoming our fear of heights and D-I-S-C-O

Thursday saw a welcome return of blue skies and sunshine, which makes everything that much more pleasant. Even though batteries were running on empty, the progress the children have made this week was clearly visible, and there were a lot of moments that made the adults very proud, and filled the children with a wonderful sense of achievement as children dropped off abseiling walls (or even just got to the top of the tower), and climbed up tall and wobbly telegraph poles before trying to knock each off the platform with their behinds. We also enjoyed building shelters and striking flints to make fire in the survival activity, before shooting either rifles (at targets) or arrows (at each other).

The evening activity saw some of the finest dancing solos in living memory - take a bow, Auriane - as well as lots of jumping up and down as we switched between channels to find out favourite tunes at the silent disco. A great day.

Again, apologies for the amount of photos taken, but its hard not to take photos when the children are doing so many cool things.
