We have just finished this year's tours for prospective parents and have shown over 200 parents the school, which is quite overwhelming!
Due to capacity, we cannot show individual families around the school. However, we are compiling a mailing list for the next round of tours. There are two types of parent tour.
In Year Tours
If you have a child who is either at another school or you are new to the area and would like to come and see the school for an 'in-year' admission, please complete the form here.
Reception 2026 Tour
Our school tours for Reception 2026 will take place in the Autumn Term 2025. To register your interest, please share your details with us on this form. The tours will provide an opportunity to see our school in action. At the start of the tour there will be a presentation and a Q&A session. As soon as the dates
have been organised, we will share information on how to book your space.
We have launched 2025 with brilliant learning across the Upper Phase - take a look at some of what we've been getting up to.
It's the first week of the new year and the children in years 2 and 3 are off to a flying start! From learning how to draw shapes with a ruler to fantastic creative writing and fascinating historical facts, the children have started 2025 with an obvious determination to do their best. Well done Lower Phase!
Year 6 exhibited their conceptual sculptures about climate change in Rosen Hall
Take a look at the learning that has been going on across the Upper Phase as part of our last recognition assembly of the calendar year!
It was a real pleasure to listen to the children speak so confidently about their learning this morning! They enthusiastically explained exactly what they had enjoyed the most about their lessons and were able to give us details about how they had overcome challenges that they faced. We were all very impressed and highly entertained. Well done years 2 and 3!
Back in 2023, our Climate Champions, led by Ms Lepere, raised the issue of the unsafe crossing at Lausanne Rd. This is a key route to school for many of our children and families are faced with a daily dash to the other side!
The Climate Champions came together to call for action. With the support of both the community and Ms Lepere, the children wrote to local Councillor, Gavin Edwards. He wrote back saying he would look into it, thanking the children for raising the matter, and promising action.
Some tasty maths and geography for you to look at this week!
It's not long until the children in years 2 and 3 will gather to celebrate the excellent achievements of their friends in this week's Recognition Assembly. We are lucky enough to have maths, writing, science and RE to look at this week - have a peek and prepare to be impressed!
A final night of fun followed by a fond farewell to PGL
Time for Year 4 and Year 5 to shine, as Year 6 are otherwise occupied with their residential school journey.
