Just work from years 5 & 6 this week, as the year 4s are out on a trip. Enjoy!
Today's assembly was absolutely jam-packed with fantastic writing from across the curriculum. The focus was on the incredible progress the children have made with their handwriting and sentence structure.

It was such a pleasure to witness the children proudly sharing their learning today. We talked a lot about not just doing 'the bare minimum' and our contributors gave us excellent examples of what happens when you demonstrate persistence and resilience!
It's been a while since the last one, so have a look at the work years 4, 5 & 6 have celebrated this week.
This week, Mr Absolom and 12 members of the school council attended a Housing Action Assembly, which took place outside City Hall.
For the school councillors, this was the culmination of a set of workshops, run by UCL undergraduates, which took place last half term. Within these sessions the children focused on the issue of housing and what constitutes a safe and healthy environment to grow up in. The children's work is included in the Housing Action report, which can be downloaded below.
The children from years 2 and 3 have been at it again with their fabulous effort and concentration! This has resulted in more top quality work for you to enjoy this week. Well done everyone!
Our Year 4 children had a fantastic experience at Stubbers Adventure Centre in Upminster. A thrilling three-day and two-night stay - 8th May - 10th May 2024.

This week, the teachers have chosen their children for Recognition Assembly based on the fantastic personal progress shown by each of them. From their use of precise verbs, carefully selected synonyms and use of personification to their neatly joined handwriting and presentation, the children have demonstrated how ambitious they are being in terms of what they want to achieve in their learning. Well done!
