Some tasty maths and geography for you to look at this week!
Some tasty maths and geography for you to look at this week!
It's not long until the children in years 2 and 3 will gather to celebrate the excellent achievements of their friends in this week's Recognition Assembly. We are lucky enough to have maths, writing, science and RE to look at this week - have a peek and prepare to be impressed!
A final night of fun followed by a fond farewell to PGL
Time for Year 4 and Year 5 to shine, as Year 6 are otherwise occupied with their residential school journey.
Another week, another fabulous selection of learning! The teachers have selected their 'stand-out' children this week and have expressed how proud they are of the extra effort the children have put in. One of our contributors was a little trickier to represent here, as she managed to conquer her fears and master the troublesome backward roll in gymnastics - we're hoping for a live demonstration in assembly this morning!
4 seasons in one day, 4 different types of precipitation, lots of fun.
"You want me to jump off this 8m wobbly tower?" is exactly the type of question you want to hear, especially when followed by a leap.
Warning: This post contains evidence of heights, axe throwing, problem-solving and teamwork.
And so it begins...
Today, we enjoyed listening to some of the children from years 2 and 3 as they told us about their achievements in RE, maths and writing. They were rightly very proud of what they had learnt and were able to explain, in detail, exactly what they felt most proud of. Well done Lower Phase!
Just year 4 and year 6 this week, as the year 5s were off having too much fun at the Science Museum today. Enjoy.
Please accept our apologies for not uploading this sooner, we hope you agree that last week's work was worth the wait!
