Turning of the Year - Wednesday 4th December 2019

The Choir will be performing at Turning of the Year at Blackheath Concert Halls on Wednesday 4th December 2019.

If your child is a part of the choir, they should have received a lyric sheet. The tracks below are available to aid practice at home.

Tickets can be purchased here: https://www.blackheathhalls.com/whats-on/turning-of-the-year

Update: Tickets are unfortunately sold out for this event.
We know only some parents were able to buy tickets. The organisers advise regularly checking the site for tickets. Although the likelihood of getting a ticket at this stage is low, some parents have had success in the last few days.

We are prepared to transport children whose parents are not able to attend, so as to ensure they still get to perform. We will check with parents nearer the time.

Recorder Music for Year 4 Children

Flute 2245041 1280

This week, children learned the note ‘C’.

At home, children should practise playing the notes they now know (B, A, G, C), all without making squeaks.

The most common cause of squeaking is air escaping through the back hole of the recorder.
