Day two of the brave new post lock down world and the sun came out to play. The sights and sounds of the whole playground alive with children skipping, playing, interacting and just generally being kids has been fantastic.
It was also a great reminder of how lucky we are with the site that we have here at Edmund Waller. With climbing frames, grass areas, flowerbeds and, of course, the green concrete turtle (!) our learners have really enjoyed being back within the school grounds.
At the moment, the children are in zones within the playground to help minimise the mixing of bubbles etc. These zones change each week. This means that the children get dedicated time in each part of the playground, whilst remaining as safe as possible.
