A Talented Bunch

With the current restrictions making it impossible for the whole school to meet up, you might have thought a whole school talent show would have been impossible…?

Pah, we’re not letting a pandemic get in the way of our fun. We staged a virtual talent show, which was filmed and beamed live around the entire….ahem…school!

We had a wide range of talent on display – singing, dancing, cartwheeling and some jokes too!

Well done to the Year 6 trio who won the whole school vote. They were amazing

Reception Christmas Show10:30am, Thursday 17th December

Forest and Woodland classes will perform their show live at 10:30am on Thursday 17th December. We plan to put a large screen in the hall to allow the children to see the audience and hear your applause at the end. Zoom meeting details will be sent directly Reception parents. Please put your cameras on so they can see you waving!

Whole School Christmas Concert (CHANGE of DATE) – 7pm, Friday 18th December

Each year group bubble is preparing a song for you to enjoy. The show will be streamed at 7pm on Friday 18th December. Zoom meeting details for the ‘watch party’ will be sent to all parents by email and the YouTube link will be posted on the school website (see below) on the day of the show.

Spirit of Christmas 2020

Our Year 6 choir members represented the school brilliantly in support of the World Child Cancer Charity’s annual Spirit of Christmas fundraising event, which was streamed live on 1st December.

They sang “Do You Hear What I Hear” and presented part of a poem too.

Year 5 singers were unfortunately unable to take part due to being isolated the day before the recording was made. We did miss them. Thanks to Taiga and Tundra classes for stepping-in at the last minute.
