Bad egg puns aside, there is a lot of egg-citement in Year 1 this week as they took delivery of some new members of their class. We can now report that ALL of the chicks have safely hatched and chicks and children are all getting used to each other’s company!
We had a lovely time at Besson street Community Garden. We’d love to visit the garden again but next time on a sunny day! Thank you to all the parents and carers who braved the rain and snow, remained positive throughout and made the visit possible.
The afternoon children are really enjoying making and tasting pancakes.
To find out about Shrove Tuesday we have made and tasted pancakes. We had them with lemon and sugar and we all agreed that they tasted delicious afterwards we drew pictures of the pancakes
We are now able to announce the date of the last INSET day to be allocated for this school year. The new date will see the school closed on MONDAY 20th APRIL. This day is in addition to the INSET day scheduled for 1st JUNE.
