Thank you to all the parents and carers who came and supported the children at our dragon parade memorable event. We wandered and weaved around the playground and sang our dragon song. The children agreed that the dragon had a lot of feet… 46 in total.
I wonder what you’ll put inside your lucky red envelope.ki
Nursery and reception joined up and watched the very talented year 6 children perform a bamboo dance.
We saw the hall come alive to celebrate Chinese New Year. Children from across the school performed traditional dances, songs and displayed their Mandarin skills in short role play.
It was an excellent way to start the Year of the Rat. All children received a fortune cookie too – find out what their year holds, when they get home.
The children take the responsibility of feeding the birds very seriously. They counted the scoops if seed into the feeder and then work out the best place to put the feeder.
Today we made carrot cake at nursery. We all took turns to grate the carrots and mix it together and then we shared it at home time.
We hope the children enjoy playing in our Chinese home. We’ve decorated it for Chinese New Year.
