We have 60 places each year in our reception classes, 50 across our nursery classes and we occasionally have places available in other year groups.
Primary School Admissions are administered by our Local Authority, Lewisham and we adhere to their processes and policies for administering places fairly. In the event there are more applications than places available, Lewisham applies our over-subscription criteria (outlined in our admissions policy). The school offers tours of the school on a regular basis for parents of prospective pupils – please contact the school office for more details.
Applications for a place in our Nursery class are made directly to the school and can be done at any time during the school year (once the child has reached the age of 3) depending on spaces available.
Applications must be made in hard copy only, a digital version is not yet available from Lewisham. Please click the following link for a copy of the Nursery Application Form 21 Nursery Admissions Form. Alternatively, you can collect a copy from the main office.
If you wish to apply for a place starting in one of the Edmund Waller Reception classes, then you must apply using the Lewisham Local Authority admissions procedure.

Years 1 – 6
If you are applying for a place in another year group, then you need to obtain a paper application form from your home local authority. Lewisham residents can obtain a paper application form from our School Office, or from the Access Point in Laurence House, 1 Catford Road SE6 4RU.
