Ms Boxall by Ruby in Year 1
At Edmund Waller School, we ensure our children experience a high-quality education that vastly exceeds the requirements of the National Curriculum. Through broad, stimulating, exciting experiences and participation in our community and beyond, our children become confident, inquisitive and well-rounded life-long learners.
We want the best for every child so have high standards and high expectations for learning, achievement and behaviour for each pupil. We develop every child’s confidence and create an environment in which they feel included, secure and valued. The achievements of all pupils are celebrated.
Our children learn from a dedicated, experienced and dynamic staff team. The children work hard within the context of a motivating topic-based curriculum, developing an appreciation of how important learning is for their future. Learning is immersive, experiential and memorable; never more so than on regular educational visits, which are carefully planned to enrich the curriculum.
We provide diverse and exciting extra-curricular activities such as playing in our orchestra, singing in the choir, learning new languages, taking part in football, basketball, gardening, cookery, and art (to name a few).
We make full use of the opportunities provided by our large site, with bright and airy Victorian buildings, which provide an excellent environment to learn and play.
If you would like the opportunity to see us in action please ring the school office to make an appointment to visit, or come along to one of the Parent’s Mornings.
